AppointmentsStudents may meet with with a counselor by signing up in the counseling office on the designated computer, before or after school, during lunch or in between class periods. Students will be contacted by their counselor within 48 hours. Parents may call the counseling receptionist or email counselors to schedule a meeting. The best way to get a question answered quickly is by email. Typically, meetings will be scheduled at 7:45am or 3:30pm. Other meeting times are available upon request.

Individual CounselingSchool Counselors meet with students to assist with issues related to: college, career, credits, grades, emotional and numerous personal needs. School Counselors provide short term and/or crisis counseling. School counselors meet with students individually based upon student, teacher or parent requests. Each counselor's caseload is approximately 400+ students. Students will be seen in an appropriate and timely manner depending on the daily activities and commitments of each counselor. Emergency/crisis issues will be handled immediately.

Classroom GuidanceCounselors conduct classroom guidance lessons throughout the school year. Lessons may include topics such as: Individual Graduation Plan (IGP) Checklist, Move On When Ready (MOWR) Review, Junior Class Review, Senior Class Review, PSAT Review to name a few.
